About the Author
Kim Williams is the executive director and CEO of the Organization for Bat Cosnervation. She has written 12 bat books and several journal articles since completing her graduate degree. Her thesis focused on the roosting ecology of the federally endangered Indiana bat. Kim has appeared on such programs as National Geographic, Wild Things, and Nickolodeon. Rob Mies is the director of the Organization for Bat Conservation. He has traveled extensively around the world studying bats and how to protect them.
